1. Valves must be in full open position during system or pipeline pressure test after installation. Partial opening shall not be used for regulating flow or emergency discharge. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any harm caused by such use.
2. Normally, globe valves have no insulation. Do not touch the surface of valves to prevent burns/frostbite when high or low temperature fluids occur.
3. Valves should be cleaned regularly according to working conditions. Because the surface and moving parts of the valve are easy to adhere to dust, oil and media residues, and the valve is prone to wear and corrosion and even friction heat, which is very dangerous to combustion gases.
4. Measure the wall thickness of the valve chamber every three months. If the wall thickness is less than the inner thickness of the meter, replace the valve.
5. Valves should be inspected regularly in service after use. Sealing and wear of sealing surface should be inspected regularly. Packing is ageing and invalid. Valve body is corroded. If the above situation is found, repair or replacement should be carried out in time. Water and oil media are recommended to be repaired every three months, corrosive media are recommended to be repaired every other month, or in accordance with local regulations.
6. Valves are reassembled and adjusted after repairing, during which no welding slag is allowed to splash on the surface of bellows and other mechanical damage is caused to bellows; besides the pre-stretching (or compression) required by design, it is strictly forbidden to use the method of deformation of bellows to adjust the installation deviation of pipes so as to avoid it. Affect the normal function of bellows, reduce service life and increase the load of piping system and equipment according to pipes and supporting components. Finally, the sealing performance test is carried out, and the list of replacement parts during maintenance is recorded for reference.
7. Valve fillers, gaskets, bolts and nuts replacement users can choose the appropriate size of self-replacement, valve fillers, gaskets can also be ordered as spare parts when ordering, for maintenance replacement. It is not allowed for the valve to open the cover under pressure or replace bolts, nuts or fillers under pressure. After replacing fillers, gaskets, bolts and nuts, the valve should be used after qualified pressure test.
8. Users can repair the sealing surface of the valve by themselves, but the sealing property should be guaranteed and used after qualified pressure test.
9. Valve internals are generally replaced. Maintenance is not recommended. Replacement of internals should choose the parts provided. If time is not allowed, the valve manufacturer's parts can not be found. Users should make the parts strictly according to NEWAY drawings and replace them after passing the inspection. The manufacturer is not responsible for the damage caused by parts supplied by non-manufacturer.
10. Pressure-bearing parts of valves are not recommended for maintenance. If it is found that pressure-bearing parts have safety defects due to long service time, users should replace new valves in time.
11. Welding repair of on-line valve body is not allowed.
12. No knocking, standing or supporting heavy objects on valves in operation are allowed.
13. Warning signs should be set when the temperature of the valve case is higher, or the high temperature valve should be isolated to prevent burns.
